Says Horner: “I’m proud of the work the agency has produced whilst I’ve been ECD. I joined in 2010 and I certainly feel like I’ve been part of some significant changes and a lift in the agency’s creative profile, but my family are in Sydney and I feel like now is the right time to return home.”

The agency is currently Campaign Brief’s Perth Agency of the Year, and is ranked 7th on the Bestads Australian Creative Agency league table.

Brand MD Steve Harris said that Horner had made a major contribution to the Agency’s creative development and profile: “We brought him in to do a job and he’s delivered, but I always knew that Garry would look to return home at some stage, so this isn’t a surprise.

“The agency has commenced a process of recruiting a replacement and we intend to have a new creative director on board by early in the new year. We are looking for a person who can provide creative leadership in digital as well as traditional. In the meantime we still have a strong team in place that will continue to produce excellent work.”
