It will be final campaign by Grey for the TAC since losing the business earlier this month; a relationship that has seen the creation of more than 150 campaigns over the last 24years.

The Ungiven Gifts installation features 209 gifts, symbolising the number of lives lost on Victorian roads this year.

Behind each of these gifts is a heartbreaking story of a life lost and of loved ones for whom Christmas will never be the same.

The state’s road toll presently stands at 209; 43 less than at the same time last year.

Many Victorians know pain of missing a loved one at Christmas and that pain will remain forever.

Ungiven Gifts will be in the State Library forecourt until Wednesday. Visitors can leave either a commitment to safe driving or a tribute to a loved one on the Christmas tree, or on TAC’s Facebook page.
