To celebrate his book launch ‘Selected Works 1976-2013’ Australia’s premiere portrait photographer Gary Heery is set to give an artist talk this weekend, November 23 from 2pm – 4pm at Black Eye Gallery in Darlinghurst, Sydney.
His book features 300 + pages of images from Life, Esquire, Vogue and Rolling Stone, as well as album covers and movie posters of stars such as Madonna, Susan Sarandon, Jodie Foster, Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett and Andy Warhol, and portraits from his renowned flora and fauna collection.

A jam-packed opening last night for ‘Selected Works 1976-2013’. What a great achievement, and good to see so many supporting Gary Heery. Too many of our great photographers are taken for granted.
