Usually, it’s a mad rush as the 25th looms closer and there’s always that one pesky relative you’ve completely forgotten to buy something for. Thankfully, Cubed Communications has created a holiday card that’s helping their clients solve this Christmas calamity.

The “Cubed Last Minute Gift Guide” features both an online and offline component and was designed to help those who face the common Christmas annoyance of shopping.

Screen Shot 2013-12-19 at 1.54.55 pm.jpgThe offline element is comprised of a card with a poem in the guise of “T’was the night before Christmas…” that regales the torment of forgetting to get that one person a gift. The card then directs readers to a microsite where Cubed staff members offer personal gift suggestions that can then be clicked through and bought, or shared on social media for others to enjoy.

One day in, and the response has been wholly positive, with clients commenting that the card is “amazing” and “the best one they’ve received this year”. One commented, “Thanks for the Christmas card! The poem was great – made me laugh so a fantastic start to the morning. I absolutely loved the Gift Guide site; what a cracker!”

Even office dogs, Ned and Cooper, are convinced the card will be a hit and predict pet store’s will be inundated with orders of their gift.
