fetchtv.jpgFetch TV has appointed Host as its creative agency for a multi-million dollar marketing campaign designed to drive mass awareness of the unique Fetch TV product offering.

Host was appointed following a competitive pitch and has developed a multi-media campaign that launched on free to air television on Australia Day. The campaign will cover TV, cinema, outdoor, online, and magazines.

Rallying Australians to “Show TV who’s boss”, the campaign demonstrates the key benefits of Fetch TV including the ability to record TV shows and series, rent from over 2,500 on demand movies, add affordably priced premium channels packs, and watch TV shows and movies “on the go” on tablets and smart phones.

Fetch TV soft launched in Australia in mid 2010, and has been busy adding functionality and building out the content proposition.  This campaign represents the “hard launch” of the service, and is the company’s first major communications activity.  The campaign will precede a significant marketing push from ISP partners Optus and iiNet.

Says Suzie Shaw, CEO of Host: “We love working with innovative businesses like Fetch. With this campaign, our first task is simply to let people know about their killer product proposition.”

Says Scott Lorson, CEO of Fetch TV: “We set Host a difficult challenge with a near impossible timeline, and they have delivered in spades.  Suzie and the team at Host have impressed at every stage, and we are delighted with the resulting campaign. As a challenger brand with a unique and disruptive product, it is exciting to now be in market telling the Fetch TV story, and we’re looking forward to working with Host on the next phase of communications.”
