Kirsten Michael joins Airbag Productions’ post production division CanopyVFX in producer role

After a stint in the US, Kirsten Michael (formerly Cortizo) has joined the ranks at Airbag Productions, heading up its CanopyVFX post production division.

Says Michael: “The team at Airbag are a super talented bunch – they’re focused, fun and there is fantastic work going here across multiple disciplines. It’s a wonderful working environment, collaborative and supportive. I’m very excited to be part of their team.”

Says Victoria Conners-Bell, EP: “Kirsten is experienced on both sides of the production fence, including MRPPP, Digital Pictures, Clemenger and Visual Playground and as such, and is a fabulous asset for us. We are absolutely thrilled to have her join our team.”

With the move to its new studio last year Airbag Productions has expanded its offering from live action direction, VFX and animation to include editorial, grade, online and creative technologies.
