Mobius Awards 2013: Droga5 wins Direct Best of Show for Qantas ‘Stories For Every Journey’ + Leo Burnett Melbourne scores three Awards

Also scoring in Australia, Leo Burnett Melbourne won three First Place Statuettes and two Best of Show nominations for Seek ‘Volunteer to Promote Volunteering’ campaign in Public/Media Relations, Direct-Physical Mail, and Direct-Other campaigns as well as a Second Place Certificate for Outstanding Creativity in Integrated Campaigns.

Havas Worldwide Australia, North Sydney, earned Certificates for “Durexperiments Fundawear” in New Media: Personal Care Products; “Fair Go Bro” in Direct: Consumer Electronics; and “The World’s Most Powerful Arm” in New Media: Charitable/Non-Profit.  The clients were Reckitt Benckiser, Virgin Mobile Australia and Save Our Sons & Duchenne Foundation.

Belgiovane Williams Mackay, Ultimo, New South Wales, earned Second Place Certificates for Outstanding Creativity for “Into The Woods” in Cinema/In-flight, done for John West, Sydney, and “Selleys ‘Handyman House'” in Online: Web Flash, done for Selleys, Sydney.

Mercer Bell, Sydney, took a Second Place Certificate for “Fists of Fusian” in Branded Content: Entertainment. The advertiser was Nestle Sydney.

The overall competition recognised competitors with 45 First Place Mobius Award Golden Statuettes, 55 Second Place Certificates for Outstanding Creativity and two Student Certificates. This 43nd annual competition drew participating entries from fifteen countries.
