Sportingbet marketing director, Claire Murphy, is delighted to be launching the bold campaign to Australian blokes.

Says Murphy: “Shane is, without question, one of the most admired cricketers of all time. He’s the quintessential Aussie bloke who we’re sure is going to resonate with punters nationwide – so it is a perfect brand partnership for us.

“We’ve joined forces with Clemenger BBDO Sydney, Universal McCann and Mango Sydney to bring to life a campaign which will see Warnie take on a series of Sportingbet bets that push him right to the limit.

“We could not be more delighted with the creative Clemenger BBDO Sydney has produced and look forward to entertaining punters through TV and social media content.”

Says Warne: “Like a lot of Aussie blokes, I enjoy a punt – so when Sportingbet approached me to be a part of this campaign and participate in a few fun bets, I didn’t have to think twice.

“Shooting the commercials was brilliant – but I sure came away battered and bruised! I don’t want to give too much away, but my biggest fears are exposed and I’ve certainly been reminded why I took baked beans on tour with me to India.”

The campaign will run nationally on TV, digital, print and radio, supported by social media and PR.
