before and after.jpgSenior creative Alex Wadelton (left) is departing GPY&R Melbourne to join newly appointed ECDs Jim Ingram and Ben Couzens at CumminsRoss Melbourne.

Wadelton is responsible for creating some stand out and awarded campaigns over the past few years; work that saw him melt down the scrap metal of the AFL premiership cup and turn it into the World’s Most Precious Metal, re-launch Wagon Wheels into space (which scored him a Cannes Lion) and more recently establish his own fundraising campaign ‘One Buck One Pluck’ for kids cancer charity Camp Quality which saw him match every dollar donation with one hair plucked from his own head.

Says Wadelton: “I’ve had a great time at GPY&R, both in Sydney and in Melbourne, but I’m super excited by what’s happening at CumminsRoss. In such a short time, they really have amassed a stellar line-up of clients; Clients that I can’t wait to make interesting work for. Plus, I know Jim and Cuz are top blokes, even though they don’t barrack for Geelong.”

Says Couzens: “Alex has had a great run at Patts. We witnessed his hair-brained ideas first hand when weworked there a few years back and Jim and I are pumped to have him come on board to help us shake things up.”
