Tata Global Beverages appoints The Works as lead creative agency partner for Tetley tea brand

Tetley Green Tea .jpgBeverage giant Tata Global Beverages has appointed The Works as lead creative agency for the Tetley tea brand ahead of a marketing push in 2014.

 

The Sydney-based independent won the account following a competitive pitch involving three other agencies and replaces incumbent Clemenger BBDO Melbourne who did not participate in the pitch.

The Works will manage integrated brand communications and assist in new product development for Tetley. Work on the account has already started.

Tetley is the second Melbourne-based client for The Works joining EnergyAustralia which handed its below-the-line work to the agency in July last year. The win follows a stellar 2013 that saw The Works add major accounts including Jim Beam Global, EnergyAustralia and NRMA Group.
