We Are Social bolsters Sydney offices appointing four senior staff members to the growing team

The company, which now has over 50 staff in Australia, develops socially led communications and business solutions for clients globally and in Australia, including Kia Motors, Open Universities Australia, Roadshow Films, Nivea, adidas and eBay.

Sabrina Antoniou joins We Are Social as group account director. With more than 15 years experience in agency and marketing roles, most recently as group account director at MercerBell, Antoniou is a seasoned senior manager and strategist, with a focus on social and digital marketing fuelled by belief in the power of one-to-one conversation with customers.

Anthony Da Silva joins We Are Social as a senior account director, bringing his depth of strategic digital and social media experience to the role. Originally from the UK, Da Silva has worked with top agencies in Australia including M&C Saatchi, Droga5 and Lavender.

Also adding weight to senior ranks is account director Cristina Forlani, who joins the Sydney team from We Are Social, Milan. Forlani’s experience includes digital, social and PR for a wide range of clients and she brings the benefit of her global perspective to the Sydney office.

We Are Social’s in-house development team has added another senior IT professional with the recent hire of Dr. Jim Li. With a PHD in systems and computer engineering, Dr. Li is an experienced systems and software engineer with international experience including an IBM Doctoral Fellowship in Canada. The big data sourcing specialist will be working on data collection and recommendation modelling for We Are Social’s proprietry social CRM platform.
