KOJO - STEPHEN HORSLEY.jpgAs a key part of its national growth strategy, integrated storytelling company Kojo has opened a Sydney office with the appointment of Stephen Horsley in a business growth role.

Horsley joined Kojo in February, after spending a successful three-year period building new business for George P Johnson in Sydney. Horsley comes to Kojo with an extensive live experience and business development background and will be building on Kojo’s existing blue chip live event clients in Sydney.

He also understands how important digital and content creation has become in live events, and championed the integration of George P Johnson’s offering in the Australian market.

Says Dale Roberts, Kojo CEO: “Stephen is a great addition to the team and gives Kojo the presence we need on the ground in Sydney. Importantly for us, Stephen understands our unique integrated storytelling model, and is already providing great thinking for our clients across our digital, live experience and content services.

“This appointment follows the recent promotion of Stephen Lord to chief strategy officer, which will see him focused on helping to grow our strategic and creative presence in Melbourne and Sydney.”

Says Horsley: “As well as representing an opportunity to work with an incredible pool of creative talent, my move to Kojo is reflective of the shift in today’s marketing environment. I see Kojo as being perfectly positioned to take a leading position in the emerging consumer-driven revolution toward experiential marketing.

“Working within a storytelling business that has such incredible scope in so many customer- facing channels, is truly unique. For me, Kojo simply represents the absolute cutting edge in contemporary media.”
