MCN Sport.jpgMulti Channel Network has today launched MCN Sport, a dedicated sports division that will focus on connecting brands with high quality sports content across mobile, tablet, web and TV platforms as well as out-of-home spaces.

The division, which will be headed up by national sports sales director, Martin Medcraf, will look to amplify partnership opportunities for brands across the breath of sporting properties represented by MCN and deliver innovative and integrated multi-screen solutions. MCN Sport represents 12 television channels, 46 websites, 41 mobile sites and 41 apps; covering everything from live matches and in-depth analysis to breaking sport news and up-to-the-second scoreboards.

Medcraf said MCN Sport was being launched to help marketers maximise the value from sports partnerships, by providing them with strong and versatile content rich, broadcast and digital platform to tell their brand’s story.

Says Medcraf: “Each and every weekend, millions of Australians engage with sport across television, online or mobile, proving that sport not only delivers scale, but that it remains a powerful way for brands to connect with consumers. MCN Sport is all about helping advertisers connect their brand with these highly engaged consumers across multiple touch points through our unrivalled sports coverage on multiple screens.”

MCN Sport is the only true sports network in Australia, boasting 24/7 international and local sports content – a unique Australian offering. This year, the team will be working with clients across a range of sporting codes including the AFL premiership season, the NRL and Super Rugby and Rugby Championships, the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, the A-League finals, the World Cup Friendlies, the UEFA Champions league, the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, the ASP world tour, the NBA, NFL, MBL, NHL, the Racing championships and the Spring Carnival, just to name a few.
