Yahoo!7 brings immersive experience with the launch of a new tablet ad format for Toyota

Yahoo!7 Tablet Video Immersion ad format.jpgYahoo!7 has announced a market first with the launch of the new Tablet Video Immersion advertising format securing Toyota as launch partner.

The innovative new advertising offering leverages video content and the interactive nature of tablet devices, to create an immersive experience for users. The new format presents advertisers with an opportunity to increase consumer engagement with video content, using dynamic text and image overlays to draw attention to key elements within the video.

Tablet Video Immersion builds on video content to provide advertisers with a more engaging way to communicate with consumers. Once initiated from the in-line position, video content plays in full width of the browser. Within the video, hotspots can be tapped to enable rich overlay panels, revealing more information and interactive media elements. The main video pauses in the background with users able to tap to return back to the main video.   

The Toyota launch campaign was developed in conjunction with media agency, TMS. This represents another innovative media execution that has been developed for Toyota as a key client since 1997.

The new Tablet Immersive Video ad format is available now and is compatible with all versions of iPad, including iPad mini.
