Sydney-based digital agency, Holler, off-the-back of some recent new business wins, has bolstered its ranks with two senior hires. Anton Mills (left) and Michael Griffiths (right) have recently started at Holler as the agency’s new technical director and executive producer respectively.

Mills arrives at Holler after four-years at Isobar, passionate about demystifying technology as a platform for creative use. With an incredibly diverse portfolio, Mills has worked on award-winning campaigns such as David Jones ‘Denim Seeks Soul Mate’ experience, plus led significant projects for the likes of Samsung, Network 10 and collaborating with Empire of the Sun on an Audio/Visual prototype, ‘Soundtrack of the World’ for the Arte ‘Power to the Pixel’ awards.

Says Mills: “Holler is an agency brave enough to invert the traditional agency model on its head. Their unique style of working appeals to me as it allows so much cross-collaboration across the business. The result is a more integrated approach that creates smarter, better and stand out work.”

Out of the office Mills’ a regular contributor to the wider technology community through presentations at local meet-ups; a technical editor for Packt Publishing and a representative of the non-profit Mozilla Foundation that promotes openness, innovation and participation through the internet.

Griffiths, Holler’s new executive producer, arrived back from New York having spent 3-years with digital agency, Firstborn, working with high-profile clients such as L’oreal, Sony, Pepsi and AT&T. Prior to his time in NYC, Michael worked for local agencies Host and Ogilvy amongst others.

Says Griffiths: “The decision to accept the executive producer role with Holler was made easy thanks to two factors. Firstly, the senior leadership team who have empowered me to impart my expertise across the group. The second is the agency’s method of working – Modes – which, when you hear them describe how the collaborative approach plays out, makes perfect sense. I have to also say, the style and culture of the agency is certainly conducive to me showing off my growing sneaker collection too. So, I’m sure I’ll be happy here.”

Says Merran Morton, Holler’s general manager: “Both Anton and Michael have exemplary CVs and reputations within the industry. I’m excited they’ve joined the Holler team, not only because of their experience but also how their individual personalities fit within the fabric of the agency. Their influence on expanding Holler’s capabilities and client service offering will be fundamental to the agency’s growth this year, and beyond.”
