Westpac Flow.jpgCB Exclusive – Tonight Westpac launches the latest instalment in its highly successful Proudly Supported series called Unstoppable You.

The campaign, via DDB Australia, launches nationally with a TVC entitled ‘Flow’, directed by Glue Society’s Gary Freedman. OOH, digital and print executions support the launch TVC.

The campaign will capture a number of proof points that match the pace and rhythm of Australian life via Westpac’s everyday banking products.

The first proof point is that Westpac is the only bank in Australia that gives its customers access to 50,000 ATMs worldwide where they don’t have to pay ATM withdrawal-fees. So they can afford to keep the good times going when they’re travelling. It’s the world’s largest ATM alliance.

“It’s a great point of difference,” says DDB Australia managing director, Andrew Little. “Who wouldn’t like a little bit of extra money in their pocket to enjoy travelling the world? We wanted to capture the joy of just flowing from one awesome experience to the next – showing that banking with Westpac helps fuel the journey. I want to thank the product and marketing teams who have worked extremely hard to create these points of difference for us”

Adds DDB Melbourne executive creative director Darren Spiller: “The banking category should be an exciting category. Money allows you to do things, to feel good. That’s what this ad does. It’s fun, energetic and  heady but very poignant and very relevant. Here’s to living better.”

Says Lisa Ronson, head of mass marketing services at Westpac: “We love the idea of being the bank for Unstoppable You. Life at a certain age is all about getting out there and getting the most out of everything that you do. We’re actively creating everyday banking products and services that go beyond what you expect from a bank to help customers do more of what they like – and keep on doing it!”
