Clemenger BBDO Melbourne dominates the 2014 Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards in Singapore – named Digital Strategy Agency OTY

RCT illustration.jpgThe world’s largest marketing effectiveness show, the AMEs, was held last night in Singapore.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne went into the show with the highest number of nominations and emerged for the fourth year running as the Most Effective Australian Agency, bringing home 19 trophies across a number of clients, as well as being named the Digital Strategy Agency of the Year.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne’s ‘Remote Control Tourist’ campaign for Tourism Victoria scored one Gold, four Silver awards and four Bronze awards. The agency’s NAB ‘Footify FM’ campaign picked up  two Silver and two Bronze. Australia Post’s ‘Video Stamp’ won two Silver awards and one Bronze and Malteaser’s ‘Baking a New Ritual Into Maltesers’ scored one Silver and one Bronze.

Ogilvy Melbourne scored a Gold Award for AAMI’s ‘Rhonda and Ketut’ campaign. The campaign was recognised for its overall long term effectiveness and its consistent and outstanding results achieved during the life of the campaign, which ran in Australia from 2011 to 2013.

This year, the amount of categories that could be entered quadrupled to include Digital Strategy, Media Strategy and Data & Analytics, in addition to Effectiveness.

 

Overall from more than 1,200 entries some 137 AME’s were awarded from 14 countries with three platinum, 19 gold, 49 silver and 66 bronzes.
