Through a series of light-hearted videos, Dimmi is calling for Aussie restaurants to #DitchTheBook (the pen and paper diary) and catch up with the rest of the world and better connect with their dinners.

Over the past few years, Dimmi has been on a journey to digitise the Australian restaurant industry. It has set out to take the industry out of an analogue world and into a digital era and to connect the industry better than ever before. Connect restaurants, connect diners and bring the entire community together.

Today Dimmi is stepping up its fight for Aussie restaurants and diners with #DitchTheBook which aims to rid our industry of one of our biggest issues – the big black book. It’s at the very heart of all of those within the industry’s issues. It’s the cause of low margins, poor customer recognition, inefficient operations, high labour costs, high no-shows, lost bookings, quiet nights, empty databases and a significant rift between the restaurants and its digital diners.

Today Dimmi calls for the industry to #DitchTheBook. Its time is well and truly up.
