Director Colin Skyba joins The Producers
Brisbane-based creatives will be delighted to hear that Colin Skyba has joined the director roster at The Producers.
The Producers duo Tanya Spencer and Noelle Jones are long-term admirers of Skyba’s work and are excited to have the opportunity to represent him out of their Brisbane headquartered operation.
Says Jones: “We were in Sydney and met with Colin at a beer garden and over a few drinks we knew what a great fit he would be in our team and thankfully he felt the same way.
Says Spencer: “Our clients will love what Colin brings to the table.”
Skyba is known as an actor’s director and his body of work spans the gamut from emotionally charged drama to comedy over the past 20 years.
Says Skyba: “I make my living delivering engaging stories for my clients. My focus is on squeezing exceptional performances from actors, non-actors and children.”
Skyba has won many local and international awards for his direction of television commercials and advertising film work including successes at the Clios, One Show, Cannes (Gold Lion), British D&AD awards, New York Festivals and many Australian awards including Commercial of the Year.
