Fin_Oculus_Image.jpgFin Design + Effects has recently collaborated with Whybin\TBWA Digital Arts Network on an exciting virtual reality experience using the latest in VR Headset Technology, The Oculus Rift.

The experience was part of a larger NRMA Insurance “Crashed Car” showroom exhibition that won Best In Show at the Royal Easter Show.

VFX supervisor and self-confessed virtual reality junkie, Stuart White, led the project internally.

Says White: “Working in virtual reality with the Oculus Rift prototype is extremely exciting – it’s like being given a chance to see into the near future. Fin has 13 years of experience making 3D worlds, but now I can put on a headset a walk around inside them. The possibilities for our clients are pretty mind-bending and this new medium is so fresh we are writing the rule book one job at a time.”

Fin is now exploring a host of new opportunities for agencies and clients that will be able to utilize the latest and greatest VR Technology. On-site demo’s are now taking place at Fin. To secure a booking please contact Stephen Douglas at stephen@findesign.com.au.
