Samsung unveils ‘Samsung Sound – Your House, Your Music’ campaign via Traffik and Edelman

image006.jpgSamsung Electronics Australia has announced the launch of ‘Samsung Sound – Your House, Your Music’, an integrated campaign via Traffik, that incorporates public events to engage Australian music lovers.

In addition, the campaign includes a range of digital, social and retail activations, as well as PR and native advertising components via Edelman that will launch in a number of phases between May to October this year.

Samsung Sound – Your House, Your Music was developed to drive awareness and engagement from audiences in relation to Samsung’s new audio range, including the Samsung M5 and M7 Multiroom speakers, Soundbars and Home Theatre Systems. The campaign invites Australians to attend music events that will take place in Sydney and Melbourne.

    • Media event (Sydney) – Thursday, 22nd May 2014 with guests Flight Facilities

    • Consumer event 1 (Sydney) – Saturday, 2nd August 2014 with guests Jinja Safari

    • Consumer event 2 (Melbourne) – Sunday, 21st September 2014 with guests Flight Facilities

    • Consumer event 3 (Sydney) – Friday, 24th October 2014 with guests Cloud Control

Samsung Sound – Your House, Your Music features three influential Australian artists: Flight Facilities, Cloud Control and Jinja Safari. At the official launch, attendees were treated to a DJ set by Flight Facilities, and a preview of the Samsung Sound video series. The exclusive footage follows the creative music making process of Hugo and James “Jimmy” (aka Flight Facilities). The duo has transformed from being a local Australian hit to an international success.

Whether that is relaxing in the comfort of their own home listening to their favourite band, or attending a live concert or festival – we each celebrate music in different ways.

“At Samsung we wanted to celebrate our passion for music and the launch of our new audio range through a meaningful campaign that spoke directly to passion points of Australians. We’re doing this through a series of events and partnerships with amazing local talent to give consumers a unique opportunity to experience our products.”

Campaign overview

Eligible entrants will have the opportunity to win a double pass to one of the consumer events. This is made possible through a retail and a social promotion. The social promotion ‘Get on the Guestlist’ opens on Monday 30th June 2014. The retail promotion is open to consumers that purchase a Samsung Multiroom Hub or a M5 or M7 Multiroom speaker from selected participating retail stores between Saturday 14th June 2014 and 12 October 2014.
