World Movies to launch ‘Sex Before Soccer’ film marathon + competition ahead of FIFA World Cup

Before the 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Brazil, the best in international films will go head-to-head across five nights in June.

Each salacious film originates from a country competing in the World Cup, as World Movies presents Sex Before Soccer, all for the first time on Australian television. Over one sweaty week starting Monday 2 June, two films play-off against each other every night, followed by a marathon from 6pm on Saturday 7 June.

A filmmaker holds a series of boundary-pushing auditions for his project about female pleasure in The Exterminating Angels, while three troubled teenagers from different social backgrounds face various challenges of love and lust in Little Thirteen. Shot entirely in hotel rooms, a novelist and an accountant meet while they are traveling for work, and though they both are in relationships, their one-night stand could become something more in 28 Hotel Rooms. A troubled and perverted family find their lives intruded by a mysterious stranger who seems to help find a balance in their disturbing natures in Visitor Q, and a sheltered teen sheds her inhibitions and enters a world of bold sexual adventure in the Australian exploitation film Felicity.
