Bruce Matchett signs on with SapientNitro as regional creative director for Asia Pacific

Bruce Matchett SN APAC.jpgSapientNitro continues to strengthen its creative offering by bringing on board Bruce Matchett, previous ECD at Saatchi and Saatchi Singapore and Malaysia as a newly appointed regional creative director for Asia Pacific.

 

An awarded creative, Matchett’s career has spanned creative director roles in UK, Australia, New Zealand, India and South-east Asia, having worked at Ogilvy Sydney, JWT India, and most recently, Saatchi and Saatchi Singapore/Malaysia.

 

He will be reporting directly into his former Saatchi boss – SapientNitro’s chief creative officer for APAC, Andy Greenaway.

Matchett will work across APAC offices in Australia, Singapore, China, and Hong Kong, on a variety of SapientNitro clients including Unilever, Metlife, AIG, Harley Davidson, Coke, Lane Crawford, Moët and Hennessy, Eu Yan Sang and Citibank.

Matchett joined Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore in April 2010 after leaving Ogilvy & Mather Sydney where he was executive creative director.

Matchett has had many wins at international, regional and local award shows, including Cannes, D&AD and The One Show. He has also won Grande Prix awards at Clio and London Internationals, as well as the Best of Show in New Zealand, Australia and India.

Matchett will be based in the regional head office in Singapore and his role starts with immediate effect. 

KV Sridhar, who resigned his position as chief creative officer of Leo Burnett India in April after 17 years of service recently joined SapientNitro India as chief creative officer in India.
