Running With Bulls Tempranillo launches new street campaign via Showpony Advertising

Running With Bulls - Flamenco.jpgShowpony Advertising has created a brand campaign for Running With Bulls Tempranillo.

The campaign pays homage to the Spanish heritage of Tempranillo, while celebrating the unique landscape and terroir of the Barossa Valley, where the wine is grown.

Says Parris Mesidis, Showpony’s creative director: “Good creative starts with the client, and the Running With Bulls marketing team gave us a sweet brief. They wanted us to create a campaign that would connect with a new generation of wine lovers. That target audience and the wine’s Spanish connection was all the inspiration we needed to come up with some smoldering visual communications.”

Retailing for $24, the food friendly wine appeals to the younger generations.

Says Sam Wigan, winemaker: “Generation X and Y are very much aware of Tempranillo and the variety is gaining popularity amongst that group. They’re keen to try something new and be adventurous.”
