Heidi Somerville, Coca Cola marketing manager, says they have stood for happiness for over 125 years, and the latest campaign is built on the insight that making other people happy, makes us happier in return.

Says Somerville: "Our new campaign launches our vision to inspire Kiwi's to make people happy by doing something in their everyday lives to bring a smile to others faces. We want to encourage everyone to find something unique they can do themselves however big or small it might be.

"We are encouraging people to take part and share their own acts or ideas by using our hashtag #makinghappynz through their social media channels so that we can share this with others to inspire them in return."

The new TV commercial for the campaign shows a person drawing inspiring hopscotch chalk artwork for others to enjoy and someone who sets up swings in random locations for anyone to use.

Says Somerville: "We will be doing some exciting things, and you might even see us pop up in a location near you."

In addition to a new TV commercial, the campaign will be supported by OOH media, Facebook, in store POS and promoted online with the use of #makinghappynz.
