Australia scores 44 entries on 2014 Clio Awards shortlist led by Leo Burnett Sydney with 15

CCSWM.jpgAustralia has performed well at the shortlist stage of the 2014 Clio Awards, with 43 entries on the shortlist, compared to New Zealand with 15.

Leo Burnett Sydney leads the Australian agency pack with 15 entries making the cut across categories including Branded Entertainment and Content, Content & Contact, Digital/Social, Direct, Engagement, Innovative Media, OOH, Print and Print Technique.

In second place is Whybin\TBWA Melbourne and Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney with four entries each. Australian agencies scoring three shortlists include DDB Melbourne and CHE Proximity Melbourne. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and VML Sydney each have two entries shortlisted and The Brand Agency Perth, Re: Sydney, Havas Worldwide Sydney, iris Worldwide Sydney, McCann Melbourne, The Monkeys, 303Lowe Perth, GPY&R Melbourne, GPY&R Sydney and Leo Burnett Melbourne have one apiece.

Four jurors represented Australia on the jury including Kat Thomas, co-founder/executive creative director, One Green Bean (Branded Content & Entertainment), Karla Henwood, executive producer, Nylon Studios Sydney (Audio), Justin Drape, chief creative officer/co-founder, The Monkeys (Design) and Johanna Scott, editor, The Butchery, Sydney (Film Technique).
