The new TV campaign, via JWT Sydney, will launch at the end of August and run till end of November led by spots produced by Bento Films.

Karen Martini (pictured), chef and judge on TV show My Kitchen Rules, has partnered with Special K on the latest breakfast revolution and has created six new home-cooked recipes inspired by some of the individual nourishing ingredients in Special K Nourish.

Says Martini: “As a mother and a chef, I believe it’s essential to use honest, humble and healthy ingredients. Simple is often best and I’m excited that the new Special K range now includes the ancient grain quinoa – which was once worshipped by the Aztecs for its protein content – nutritious pumpkin seeds, and tasty fruit pieces. It’s important to start the day on the right foot, and the launch of Special K Nourish makes my food choices at breakfast a lot easier.”

Says Kate Harris, senior brand manager for Special K: “Special K has changed. It’s taking a new, healthier direction in 2014 and the launch of Special K Nourish is the next significant step. After revamping the Special K flake recipe, we wanted to create some even more nutritious options for Aussie women who we know are looking for quick, great tasting breakfast options which help them feel good about their choices and maintain a healthy lifestyle.”
