Summary of the talk:  In an industry that refuses to stand still, it’s easy to get bamboozled by the fast-paced and forever evolving world callled advertising. However, beneath all the emerging trends and “game-changing” technologies are some things that remain unchanged since the Mad Men era of the 1960’s. In this talk, Lewis and Flannery will reflect on 10 key principles in advertising that have withstood the test of time, giving examples from the past and relating them to today’s agency landscape, along with some practical tips and advice.

The talk will be held on Monday 1st September from 5pm to 5.45pm at Miami Ad School, level 5, 2-12 Foveaux Street, Surry Hills.

The Modern Day Mad Men discussion is part of a series of informal round table talks by Miami Ad School ‘Industry Heroes’ on pop culture engineering.

The talks are free but places are limited. To book, email helga@miamiadschool.com by 12pm, Friday 29 August.
