Aussie expat EP Lucy Hunt and Richard Holman launch new London/NYC agency Holman + Hunt

Lucy Hunt_PIC.jpgLondon-based Aussie expat executive producer Lucy Hunt and Richard Holman, the founder and former ECD of Devilfish, have joined forces to create a new agency: Holman + Hunt.

The pair, whose portfolio includes brand building design and creative work for entertainment brands across the globe, including the BBC, Sky, Canal+, Discovery, FX, MTV, A&E and HBO describe themselves as ‘Brandsmiths’.

Says Richard Holman, who left Devilfish in early 2013: “We chose the term ‘brandsmiths’ because it alludes to the craft of what we do. We’ve spent years acquiring the expertise that enable us to take any brand and make it fitter, stronger and healthier.”

Adds Hunt (pictured): “We’re offering our clients a flexible, low overhead model that allows them direct access to high calibre brand thinking, specifically tailored to their brief.”

Holman + Hunt offer three core services: brand strategy; design & identity; and a particular specialism in creating 360 degree show campaigns.

Says Holman: “It’s been said that we’re living through a golden age of television. Yet the competition for eyeballs has never been as intense. If you think you have the next Madmen or Breaking Bad on your slate, how do you make sure that audiences are feverish with anticipation when the launch of episode one comes around? We’re experts at creating irresistible campaigns and bringing them to life through a rich mix of channels, old and new.”

The agency will have a presence in London and New York.
