‘Just Add Zero’ turned the idea that zero means nothing on its head and that adding Coke Zero gives you more.

The new TVC is an evolution of the Australian original ‘Just Add Zero’ creative idea – which suggests that ‘0’ acts as a multiplier when added to situations. Nima Nourizadeh, (director of the movie “Project X”), brings ‘Just Add Zero’ to life, coupled with DJ and producer ‘Diplo’ coming to the table with a remixed version of the original launch track ‘Set it off’.

The Coke Zero campaign is running for five weeks wrapping up in September, with a $2.2 million investment across TV, out-of home proximity media, and digital. A massive outdoor campaign will be rolled out. An evolution of the original creative, OOH will carry an updated tag line “Got a thirst for more”.

Says Antoinette Tyrrell, marketing manager Coca-Cola South Pacific: “As the temperature warms up and Aussies countdown to the hottest time of the year, ‘Just Add Zero’ demonstrates how Coke Zero adds more to your day.

“The return of ‘Just Add Zero’ provides us with great opportunity to drive trial and awareness of Coke Zero and keep the brand at the top of the consideration list for Aussie beverage consumers.”

To celebrate the culmination of an epic Footy season, Coke Zero has also launched themed AFL and NRL 24 pack for fans to enjoy while they cheer on their favourite team through finals season.

Just Add Zero’ has been instrumental in driving strong growth for the brand across the past 7 months with a 7%* growth in sales value in grocery for the brand.
