Domain to show off new moves with ‘Good Move’ campaign launching today via The Works, Sydney
With the peak selling season in full swing, Domain.com.au today launches its new campaign, ‘Good Move’, along with a raft of updated features to make the property search process easier for Australians.
The campaign, the first from newly appointed creative agency The Works, Sydney, brings to life the big decisions Australians face when looking at property.
The national campaign will be rolled out across TV, digital, out of home, print, cinema and transit media. It includes an iphone6 chance-to-win promotion and Good Move long-form video.
Says Domain group marketing director, Matt Siddons: “Making any move in the property world involves plenty of decisions and a lot of emotional investment. It’s not just about the properties themselves, it’s about you, your family and your future – we understand that. A series of small but smart moves should lead to a good move for property seekers. It’s our job to help property seekers make all the right moves.
“You know you are making a good move when you have done your research. We’re making it easier to access market and neighbourhood information to help ensure Australians are making well-informed decisions.”
The campaign coincides with the launch of Domain’s refreshed logo and new look website which has a range of new features, including a more robust search capability with a simpler interface. It also provides easier access to member tools such as saved searches and shortlists.
Also launching is a new blog, which delivers easy access to Domain’s accumulated wealth of property knowledge and experience. The blog will inform and inspire property seekers, investors and owners whether they be buying property for the first time, renting, investing, selling, renovating or nesting.
Says Siddons: “Australians have a passion for property ownership; finding or creating the best home possible for their families. We have a lot of valuable information that enables our users to move with confidence through their search and property purchase. Combining our updated website with Australia’s favourite property app*, Domain really provides Australians with the tools they need to get the most out of their home.”

Wow doesn’t get too much worse than this

To a very bad ad on the telly tonight.

Was the brief to make a John Lewis ad?

brilliant ad. love it
I love the new advert!!! It really relates to the everyday home buyers experience…Unlike some super rich Hollywood star buying real estate in a country he knows nothing about.
This is great.
If having a story line and supporting music makes a ‘John Lewis’ ad, then I think we need more of them.
Well done to all involved.
Simple idea, beautifully executed.
Great performance, beautifully lit and composed, nice track. You should be proud of this The Works.
Who are these sad pathetic trolls cloaked in anonymity?
Not very distinctive and pretty generic. This could be a bank mortgage ad.
Brilliant? Really?
You might think this is a beautifully composed track but it’s completely at odds to what’s happening on screen.
This one really got me. If the brief was to make real estate feel like John Lewis, they nailed it. Had a little tear in my eye.
But maybe that was because I realised I’ll never have enough money for a wife, two kids, and a 4 bedroom house in the inner west.
btw – who directed this and who wrote the track?
It’s lovely.
Love the advert, especially the gorgeous dog at the end of the bed !!!
Great to see the finished product – especially love the gorgeous dog at the foot of the bed…
This would have to be one of the worst tv adverts I have ever seen.
