Floriade.jpgWorking with Events ACT, Ensemble has taken to the streets of Sydney to inject a little passion into the lives of Sydneysiders, in order to increase awareness and attendance of the upcoming Floriade spectacular in Canberra.

Now in its 27th year the iconic floral spectacular showcases one million flowers in bloom throughout Canberra’s Commonwealth Park and attracts more than 400,000 local, interstate and international visitors each year.

Ensemble unleashed comic duo The Stevenson Experience to serenade Sydney; a standout way to stop traffic and drive the Floriade message to local Sydneysiders. In addition to the activation, content was created to release and drive through social media.

Says Adelina La Vita, marketing manager, Floriade: “We are really excited to see how the general public react to this video – it’s a great example of how Floriade injects a vibrant dose of spring into Canberra every year.”

To extend awareness The Stevenson Experience was invited to serenade Ita Buttrose and Network 10’s Studio TEN panel, live on air.

Says Justin Ricketts, CEO, Ensemble Australia: “This is another great example of how Ensemble uses activations, content creation and media partnerships to create ideas that people choose to engage with.”

Floriade brings Spring to life in Canberra from this week to October 12.
