secretservicebanner3.jpgStrategists. They’re master translators – they speak business, they interpret consumers and they’re fluent in marketing. And they’re specialists, living within business, brand and advertising to devise the ultimate plan for market domination.

Want to know more about what the strategist does every day? You can find out at the panel event, ‘The secret service: Meet the brains behind the strategy’ on Tuesday 14 October, Hotel CBD Club Bar, Level 4, Cnr King and York Streets, Sydney. The event starts at 6.00pm.

The committee has invited top strategists from eBay, Foxtel, M&C Saatchi and McKinsey to help up-and-coming marketers and advertisers understand what strategists do, and to learn to think like one.

The panellists are:

•             Chantal Walker, marketing director, Foxtel

•             Steve Brennen, senior director of marketing and advertising sales, eBay Australia

•             Justin Graham, chief strategy officer, M&C Saatchi

•             Ben Fletcher, leader, marketing & sales practice AUS/NZ, McKinsey & Company

Says Sue Kim, chair of 30Below NSW: “A great strategist is a formidable business force. They have an ear to the ground, a finger on the pulse and the agility to stay ahead of every big trend.”

ADMA 30Below Victoria is also planning a similar strategy session with local experts for Wednesday, 29 October at Campari House, 23-25 Hardware Lane. More details to be announced soon.
