Increasingly, Twitter’s agency partners are moving from asking “Why Twitter?” to “How Twitter?” Their top questions include: “How do I take my content on Twitter to the next level?” and “How do I use promoted products and other tools to get the right message to my target audience in the right moment?”

This input and more inspired the development of Twitter Flight School, Twitter’s new online learning hub, and Australia is the first market to launch it in the Asia Pacific region. Twitter has four pilot agency partners in Australia starting this week:@CaratAUNZ, @mindshare, @OMD_Aus and @StarcomAus.

Says Annick Perrin, managing director, Starcom: “Starcom Mediavest Group is delighted to be the first agency group in Australia to participate in Twitter Flight School.  Our aim is to ensure 100% completion rate nationally and in turn this will help us produce great work with social and mobility at the heart for our clients and their customers.”

Twitter Flight School contains everything media agencies need to know to develop high-impact marketing campaigns for clients, and can even be accessed from mobile devices. Twitter has tailored the content and created bite-size modules to address different agency roles and functions, including senior leadership, account planning and campaign management.

Twitter will regularly update the curriculum to empower agencies to bring the most creative, impactful strategies to their clients. Twitter is looking forward to seeing many more agencies #TakeFlight and rolling out the program to all Australian agencies in the near future.
