Former Clemenger BBDO, Brisbane head of client services Remy Brassac joins Rumble in MP role
CB Exclusive – Six months into operation, independent agency Rumble Creative & Media has announced its “head honcho”, former Clemenger BBDO, Brisbane head of client services, Remy Brassac.
A long-time colleague of Rumble creative partners Nancy Hartley and James Burchill, Brassac completes a high-powered team offering clients big thinking without big agency layers.
Says Hartley: “Remy is the most creative and energetic MD you could ever hope to meet. People love him. He’s genuine, strategic and smart.”
The trio first met over a decade ago at McCann Erickson. Brassac then went on to form his own successful agency, Gallery DePasquale, which was bought by the Clemenger Group. The team reunited when Hartley and Burchill became ECDs of Clemenger BBDO two years ago.
Says Brassac of the decision to open a full service agency: “We seem to have got the timing just right. Clients are appreciating our straight-to-the-heart-of-it, non-biased value proposition and the fact that we offer solutions for their business, not just their advertising.”
A constant influx of new business has seen the Rumble team grow to eighteen, with new appointments in creative, media and account management. Rumble celebrates its six-month milestone with an official launch party in Brisbane tonight.

Awesome mind. Brilliant guy. Rumble is very very lucky.
There hasn’t been an earthquake in West End but there is very definitely a growing rumble. And it’s pleasing to see that the final piece has been moved into place with Remy’s leadership having been locked in. Now the agency is really ready to rumble!
I heard a story about Remy in a pitch where he outlined an invisible picture frame with his fingers and asked the client to imagine the optimum world where they’d be working together.
Remy stepped through it, embraced his inner Jerry Maguire and said ‘Who’s coming with me?’
Crickets.
Then he said ‘Fuck you guys’ and left.
Great news – that’s an awesome hire, look forward to seeing what’s next
That pitch story is as good as the legendary John Singleton pitch for Coca Cola. Great if it’s even half true. A good hire.
