ADMA NSW Branch Race Day set for Thursday, Dec 11, 1pm-5pm at Royal Randwick Racecourse
More than 200 marketers and advertisers are expected to saddle up and get ready for a punt at the annual ADMA NSW Branch Race Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Thursday, 11 December from 1.00pm to 5.00pm.
ADMA members: $155 per person, tables of 10, $1350. Non-members: $170 per person, tables of 10, $1500.
Now in its second year, ADMA Race Day features $2,000 in faux money to spend, bookmakers, phantom races, a fashion in the field parade, an auction and a rather excellent after party.
ADMA NSW Branch chair Julie Dormand, managing director of MercerBell, said the event was a way for the industry to let their hair down and celebrate the achievements of the year.
Says Dormand: “We held our first race day in 2013 and people really loved it. It is a fantastic way to end the year with the atmosphere of a fun race day.”
Under the ‘tent’, racegoers will have punt or two and enjoy a lavish three-course luncheon and take part in some good, old-fashioned networking. A highlight will be the ‘fashion on the field, ‘with prizes awarded to the best-dressed ‘filly’ and ‘stallion.’
Says Dormand: “It’s a chance to get dressed up, dig out those lovely hats or fascinators, enjoy a nice lunch and play at the races.”
An after-party will be held at the Centennial Hotel, Woollahra after 5pm.
