Gerni promotes its high pressure cleaner range in new TV and online campaign via Bloke, Sydney
Gerni has created a new TV & online campaign for its high pressure cleaner range through Sydney Creative Agency, Bloke.
Says Mike O’Rourke, creative partner of Bloke: “There’s always a spider living in the wing mirror of your car. So we used the spider’s plight as a way to showcase various product demonstrations.”
Says Diane Tannous, marketing manager of Nilfisk-Advance: “Bloke’s creative was spot on. The spider we created is a likeable character and gives us a great brand asset to use in POS.”
The simple creative effectively showcases the easy-to-use Titan, from Gerni’s consumer range of pressure cleaners. Telling the story from the spider’s point of view enabled Bloke to clearly demonstrate the versatility and easy functionality of the pressure cleaner.
Bloke used Citizen for the production of the TVC.
Says O’Rourke: “Citizen went above and beyond. It’s great to work with people with such a ‘can do’ attitude.”

Gerni are a good brand, I would trust their pumps any day over a lot of their competitors. Thanks for sharing.
The spider is cute, the pressure washers are smart. A TVC like this for one of the better known brands in the US could change the game entirely. I especially liked the way the spider character was not overused, but rather underplayed… it didn’t say things or talk about the product, only reacted like a scared spider… nice !
