2015 may be the Year of the Sheep, but ADMA is training young marketing and advertising guns up on all the ‘hacks’ they need to stand out from the herd.
The ADMA NSW 30Below community is holding a ‘career hacks’ evening to help people get prepped in the workplace for next year. It takes place Wednesday 3 December from 6.00pm-9.00pm at The Metropolitan Hotel, 1 Bridge Street, Sydney.
Says Sue Kim, chair of 30 Below: “Before we dive into the silly season, it’s a good time to get prepped for 2015. We’ve wrapped all the best hacks young marketers need into the one big event. Think of it as an early Christmas present.”
At Career Hacks, people will learn:
· how to negotiate their way to the top like a pro
· how to build a personal brand (and keep your good name)
· how to negotiate for more dosh
· how to climb the leader board (and not fall in the process)
· how to be more creative through experimenting, and
· how to establish a start-up and get it operating.
But if you think it’s all work, don’t worry. The night’s also 30Below NSW’s Christmas party so after the talk, there will be plenty of holly, jolly Christmas cheer to go around.
Tickets are $20 to Career Hacks, which includes drinks and canapés.
