LIA Awards: Eardrum Sydney named Radio & Audio Agency of the Year; Flagstaff Studios leads the Australian pack in Radio & Audio category

RVD ABC CLASSIC.jpgEardrum Sydney has been named Radio and Audio Agency of the Year at the London International Advertising Awards for the second year running.

Fifteen awards, including three gold and seven silver, were given to campaigns it has created or directed.  They include its innovative DNA Music idea for ABC Classic FM, Samsung S Drive for Leo Burnett Sydney and Commercial Insurance for Impact BBDO Dubai.

Flagstaff Studios, Melbourne has led the Australian company pack in the LIA Radio & Audio category scoring one Gold, one Silver and two Bronze. Flagstaff has won a Gold LIA for M&M’s ‘Argument’ in Confections/Snacks as well as a Silver in Direction. Its ‘Cutout’ campaign for Transport Accident Commission has scored a Bronze in Sound Design as well as a Bronze in Public Service/Social Welfare.

GPY&R Brisbane has scored a Bronze for Anti-Drink Driving ‘Radio Breathalyser’ in Public Service/Social Welfare.

JWT Sydney has picked up a Bronze in Music Video – Best Music Video for 10 Australian Divas    ‘I Touch Myself Project’ made for Cancer Council NSW.

The Radio and Audio Agency of the Year announcement means Eardrum has now won accolades at all the leading international award shows this year, including Gold, Gold and Grand Prix at Cannes, One Show and New York Festivals respectively.
