Ortolan began working with the Country Road Group in 2009 as the lead agency on Trenery with great and continued success. Two years later Country Road Group appointed Ortolan as lead agency on the Country Road account. During its three years with Country Road, Ortolan has successfully relaunched the brand as Australia’s fashion lifestyle leader. With the introduction of the Woman Man Child Home brand platform, Ortolan has worked very closely with Country Road to cement the brand’s iconic status.

October 2014 saw Ortolan coax Australian supermodel Gemma Ward back into the limelight for Country Road’s summer campaign. The incredible success of the campaign relaunched Gemma’s career and introduced her baby to the world, while gaining Country Road unprecedented attention both locally and internationally.

Says Chloe Quigley, director, Ortolan: “Although the Country Road account has been an important part of our business for three years, and together we have achieved incredible results, we feel the time is right for Country Road to benefit from a different perspective that a new creative partner could bring. As a studio, we are extremely proud of the work we have done and the results we have achieved for the brand. As a business, we are excited to continue to share our strategic thinking and creative talent with a broad and diverse mix of clients. We look forward to the new challenges that 2015 may bring. We wish Country Road ongoing success. It is an exciting and quintessential Australian brand and we feel we are leaving them in a strong position with a very defined vision.”
