STA_Still_5.jpgMelbourne based TVC and music video director Tim White has joined The OTTO Empire for representation.

In 2011, he and two friends were commissioned by STA Travel to fly around the world for 6 weeks, filming what would become the viral sensation ‘Move, Eat Learn’. This spot garnered over a million views within the first 24 hours of release. It has also become a much-used reference in creative departments at ad agencies throughout the world, and launched his directing career.

Since then, White has shot in 25 countries, displaying his versatility and unique story telling style working across several different mediums.

Twice he has been nominated for the Young Director Award in Cannes, and this week his latest music video for actor/musician Guy Pearce was released to the world. View it here.

White describes himself as being part of a new generation of film makers who focus on creating highly engaging content with small, tight knit crews. His trademark has become his fast paced, intricately woven edits that give the aspirational content just the right amount of breathing room. This, coupled with his love for mixed foley and original musical scores has seen White etch out a corner in the market that is purely his own.

solo1.jpgRelatively undiscovered in Australia, (until now!)Tim has been shooting throughout the world over the past few years, with such high profile clients as Subaru, and OTTO is thrilled to launch him into his home market.

His most recent work for Clemenger BBDO Adelaide and the Ghan Train will be seen early in the New Year. An epic cross country visual spectacular, weeks long shoot which is sure to demonstrate his unique style.
