Plumrose launches second instalment in ‘Think Plumrose’ series via Two Tractors, Melbourne
Heritage small-goods brand Plumrose has launched a new spot for its canned leg ham via Melbourne agency, Two Tractors, centered around ‘Davo’, a builder with a strong sense of humour. The campaign successfully reintroduced Plumrose to Australian consumers.
Andy Gaunt, creative director, Two Tractors points out the link they’re working to create between the character and the brand: “We saw in ‘Davo’ a memorable character and, from the first TVC, saw so much storytelling potential with him. From the outset it’s been our intention to take advantage of that to create something memorable for the brand. Ultimately, we want the consumer to see Davo and think Plumrose.”
The Two Tractors animation team spent weeks meticulously designing and building the final photorealistic Plumrose stained glass window for the TVC’s reveal shot.
The campaign is on air nationally from December 7th and supported on social.

Good work guys
Really?
Did I read. ..”so much storytelling? “.
I mean..guys…please. you’ve created a character. And you’re using it a series of skits. And really that’s it.
Save the buzzwords. Youve done a couple of ads.
Congrats on the spin, if only it matched the final product. Sadly they are worlds apart.
That’s really bad.
That’s just awful. Idiotic, amateurish, cheeesy, cheap.
No taste, nothing natural, made from ground up bits of other products, leaves a bad flavour in your mouth and makes you feel sick to the stomach.
And that’s just the advertising!
And really, what the fuck is with the way he says “plumrose” at the end. tacky tacky stuff.
So, so bad.
OMG.
