Bondi Advertising appoints ex-Atlassian director Jim Watts to the role of head of technology

JIMWATTSBONDIADVERTISINGIMAGE.jpgLocal creative agency Bondi Advertising has today announced the appointment of ex-Atlassian director Jim Watts as its Head of Technology.

The appointment enables Bondi Advertising to go beyond website design and development to deliver full enterprise solutions that are built on data-driven insights, information technology and systems engineering.

Says Steve Muller, principal, Bondi Advertising: “Our clients are seeking increasingly sophisticated digital strategies and platforms to connect their business and brands with customers. We’re thrilled Jim has come aboard. It allows us to engage with a whole new client base.”

Watts was the director of infrastructure at Atlassian and the director of cloud at Fairfax working across the SMH, Age, Brisbane Times, WA Times mastheads and platforms including Domain, Essential Baby, RSVP, Stayz and Drive.

Watts has already secured contracts with a financial services client and is in discussions with clients in publishing, banking and government services.
