The Nemo for Queensland campaign has been developed to raise awareness of the six policies it says are needed to protect the Great Barrier Reef.

From today until the state election on 31 January, everyone’s favourite clownfish ‘Nemo’ is helping to promote WWF’s six key policies for the Reef, with images and updates live from the campaign trail shared online at www.nemoforqld.com and Twitter via @nemoforqld and @WWF_Australia.

Says Dermot O’Gorman, CEO, WWF-Australia: “Nemo for Queensland is a lighthearted take on a very serious issue. Digital channels are now an important part of WWF campaigns, providing a direct line of communication to our supporters and the wider community.”

With the addition of the gLoDUOF5IcqMYoXKgDx34BYHrC1H2ffAaBjtx2PSPpw.jpgNemo for Queensland campaign, WWF aims to demonstrate to all Queensland’s political leaders that the community is watching, and expects them to adopt policies that protect the Reef for generations to come.
