Simonds changes the game again in new ‘Unbelievable but True’ spot via T20 Group

Screen Shot 2015-01-23 at 8.13.14 am.jpgT20 Group’s latest campaign for Simonds Homes, ‘Unbelievable but True’, has seen record numbers visiting display centres across Victoria, a new level of affordability established and the consumer perception of the price of homes shattered.

In research undertaken by Roy Morgan for Simonds, 80% of Victorians surveyed expected to pay $150k or more to build a new three bedroom home. Now first homebuyers can get the Simonds Pioneer, a house specifically developed for the promotion, for under $100,000 in metropolitan Melbourne.

Says Mark Vujovich, chief sales and marketing officer, Simonds: “The Pioneer has been developed to help make building the great Australian dream more affordable for Australian families, while still meeting all the comforts and standards expected when building your own home. It’s also a leadership statement, something that only the great Australian builder can deliver.

“We briefed T20 to create a campaign that was truly different for the market and had cut-through for the offer… the outstanding results tell us the message has got through.”

Fronted by television presenter Brendan Moar and featuring the three-bedroom Pioneer, the 30-sec TVC is running across networks 9 and 7 until January 31. The campaign is supported by press, POS and online/social media.

The Unbelievable but True campaign caps off a big few months for Simonds – with the new ‘Great Australian Builder’ positioning, successful public listing, continued expansion into interstate markets and increased lead as Victoria’s leading builder and number five nationally.
