The Daily Telegraph has today launched Australia’s richest NRL SuperCoach fantasy game ever, NRL Nissan SuperCoach, with former Roosters captain and NSW Blues Origin star Anthony Minichiello and his wife Australian designer Terry Biviano as NRL SuperCoach ambassadors.

Anthony and Terry will feature in the NRL Nissan SuperCoach marketing campaign and will also play NRL SuperCoach, maintaining their own teams in separate leagues, competing against one another, as well as giving their hints and tips throughout the season.

NRL Nissan SuperCoach allows fans to take on the role of coach as they choose their ultimate NRL team from Australia’s best players, and is free to play.

Says Minichiello: “I’ve always enjoyed playing NRL SuperCoach and challenging my mates, so I’m excited to come on board this year as ambassador and share some of my inside knowledge from playing in the NRL. And I’m especially looking forward to competing against Terry – I’m quietly confident that at the end of the season I will be above her on the SuperCoach ladder.”

The 2015 NRL Nissan SuperCoach will introduce a number of new features including:

  • Its biggest weekly prize pool making it Australia’s richest NRL SuperCoach fantasy game ever. More players than ever before will be rewarded with weekly prizes, including increased prize money for weekly winners who are digital subscribers to one or more of the following websites: www.heraldsun.com.au, www.couriermail.com.au, www.theadvertiser.com.au, www.dailytelegraph.com.auor www.foxsports.com.au.
  • An improved mobile site with full desktop functionality that makes SuperCoach faster and easier to use on any device.
  • Mobile app to launch in February.
  • A new fantasy forum, SuperCoach Voice, where users can debate their selections with fellow users and get the jump on what other SuperCoaches are thinking. They will be able to vote, comment and share on their very own social platform.
  •  A new league re-generator so users can re-start their 2014 league in 2015 with just one click.

Says Brett Clegg, state director, News Corp NSW: “NRL SuperCoach is one of our most popular products and it’s fantastic to have Anthony and Terry on board this season playing along and sharing their teams and tips with our audiences. The new features make it even easier for fans to play and get involved in what is set to be the biggest NRL SuperCoach season yet.”

NRL SuperCoach launches today and is available at dailytelegraph.com.au/supercoach and via smartphone and tablet.
