In a follow up to its ‘Welcome to our Home’ campaign launched in November, Fiji Airways and iris Sydney teamed up with production company zspace to capture Kelly Slater talking about his deep love for the islands.
He told iris about the profound impression his first visit had on him, causing him to come back every year for the past 24 years to stay with the same family. iris Sydney created a film harnessing his authenticity that can resonate with anyone. He released the video himself on his Facebook page and the response so far has been phenomenal.

Love it. It’s the Fiji I know. Just one itzy bitzy suggestion. I’d love it even more if the song was sung by Fijians and sounded like Fijians sing. I’ve always found ‘that’ sound evokes all the love and warmth of Fiji and its people. It’s why we keep going back.
