Former MRPP / MRPPP / Method Studios senior editor Michael ‘Hooli’ Houlahan goes freelance

After 14 years as a senior editor at MRPP/ MRPPP / Method Studios Michael Houlahan AKA ‘Hooli’ has decided to leave the fold and go freelance.

Says Hooli: “It’s been a wild ride and I’ve met and worked with some inspiring people along the way. It seems like the right time and right environment to get out there and open myself up to working in new ways with more people.

“Most Production Companies and Agencies have their own edit suites now and having that flexibility to go in-house will definitely make the process easier and more economical. A number of Post Houses are adopting the same model of bringing in a team freelancers on each production so it will be great to be able to tap into that work as well. On top of that I’ll have a fully portable system whereby I can edit on set or basically anywhere you choose.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back to a small collaborative environment and creating some awesome content.”
