Valentines Day Mistress.jpgMistress, the LA creative agency founded by Aussie expats Damien Eley and Scott Harris, will celebrate the five-year anniversary of the agency’s founding with a romantic theme party on Friday, February 13, in Venice Beach.

The agency also is celebrating a successful run in the past year as it continues to expand its ranks with a headcount growth of over 70% in 2014 and a burst of new business wins. In addition, the agency recently moved to spacious headquarters in Santa Monica and opened Mistress.tech, an office in Hamburg, Germany.

PeepShow Mistress.jpgIn keeping with the agency’s “legendary” Peep Show Party and last year’s Valentine’s Day party, the event is as much an experience as it is a celebration.

“There will be plenty to look at, but the most tantalizing opportunity for guests is that participation is encouraged for anyone who’s game,” said Aya Nishimura, Culture Mistress at Mistress. “Without giving too much away, we’re Mistress, we like getting hands-on, and now everyone else gets the chance, too.”

Mistress was founded in Venice Beach on Valentines Day 2010 as a non-traditional advertising agency that would invigorate and create passion for brands. Initially, the Mistress working model was to engage in “affairs” or project work with brands that already were married to AOR’s (agencies of record). They have since evolved and established a roster of project and AOR relationships with clients.
