Says Ed Owens, marketing director, CrownBet: "The campaign will work to build both immediate and high levels of awareness and registration.

"With the combined technology and sporting knowledge of this brand, we really are going to change the game for online wagering."

Says Matthew Tripp, chief executive officer, CrownBet: "The new CrownBet name and branding further solidifies our ties to the iconic Crown Resorts brand. The synergies between CrownBet and the Crown Signature Club will provide unparalleled value to our respective customer bases and new members."

Says Julian Bell, managing partner, GPY&R: "It's a rare privilege these days to launch a big, serious Aussie brand... and it's been one that GPY&R has thoroughly enjoyed. It's particularly exciting to work with a team that can blend such deep sporting knowledge with technological innovation. They're a great team to work with. "

The autumn racing spot is ok but that brand spot is a shocker. I only wish the idea that 'the game has changed' would apply to the quality of TV spots too.

This the 21st Century equivalent of the 20th century when working on cigarette accounts and fur products became decidedly unpopular - for all the right reasons.

Glorifying odds that are stacked against the people who can least afford to bet is not a great way to earn a living!

Just a great way for for the rich to get richer at their expense.

Good to see something that isn't 3 dickhead mates waving winning tickets in each others faces.

Wasn't BetEasy part of Betfair before? Now it's CrownBet?

Why don't they just call it Betty von Bettington's House O' Better Betting?

The idea of a 'game changer' has been so thoroughly worn out by reality TV promos it has no merit.

Who's the VO talent? He sounds amazing. I bet he's a real life voice over artist and not a copywriter.

nice ads, no doubt. but the news here is that "crown" are now online,... cross promotion won't take much to make this a category killer.
